March 20 - We went to the US C.I.S in downtown Columbus and had our electronic fingerprints taken.
March 19 - We received a call (voicemail) & e-mail from our Case Manager informing us that we are OFFICIALLY ON THE WAITLIST AT #139 for an Infant Girl, 0 to 2 years old.
March 16 - AGCI Received Dossier.
March 15 - FedEx'd Dossier to AGCI.
February 27 - We received notice from our local US C.I.S office with an appointment for our fingerprints set for March 20th.
February 21- Received USCIS Receipt of I-600A Application.
February 13 - Sent I-600A Application to USCIS in Texas via Express Mail.
February 10 - Received APPROVED Home Study Report in the mail.
February 7 - Home Study report APPROVED!
January 15 - Home Study visit with our social worker.
January 4 - Mailed last batch of documents for Home Study.
2011
November 14 - Dossier conference call with AGCI.
November 11 - Received Home Study & Dossier Binders.
November 9 - AGCI received documents and officially applied 1st set of fees.
November 7 - Mailed our Agency fee & Orientation Packet documents.
October 6 - Mailed our Program fee to AGCI & Received our Orientation Packet.
October 4 - Approved for the Ethiopia program & had our Orientation call.
September 29 - Mailed our Home Study fee to AGCI .
September 27 - Mailed our application back to AGCI.
September 10 - Received our AGCI application in the mail.
September 6 - Called AGCI & officially inquired about starting our 2nd adoption.
About Me
- Shannon
- I am happily married to a wonderful man for 10 years. We started our 1st adoption process in November 2008 to bring our gorgeous daughter Eva home from Ethiopia and was officially a member of our family in February 2011. And on Sept. 5, 2011, we made the decision to obey God's will and start the process again to bring Eva home an Ethiopian sister. Together we have learned about the blessings of adoption. We can testify to waiting on God's timing. We hope that our journey will inspire other families to consider this amazing journey of faith!
