It's Time to Go!

We are packed and ready to go! House cleaned. Laundry done and put away. Dishes run through the dishwasher and put away. Dogs washed. Swing and Exersaucer put together. Crib moved into our bedroom. And all the other million and one things that needed to be completed before we could finally lay our heads down tonight in peace.

We won't be laying down for long though. We'll be up at 2:30 am getting ready to head for the airport for the 1st leg of our journey back to Ethiopia. I have been so excited today that I felt like I could jump out of my skin. Staying busy was the order of the day. I needed to stay busy to make the day go by faster. And because I have such a wonderful husband, he suggested that we go to our favorite Ethiopian restaurant to help pass the time. What a great meal!

So now it's time for us to try to get a couple of hours' sleep. We'll be back next week and I'll be blogging all about our 2nd trip (hopefully in a more timely manner than the 1st trip) :-)

We each get 1 suitcase and Eva gets 2! Hannah's Hope gets the 3 bins. God is so good!
